Our History

Nathan & Tim Lewis began working alongside their father, Philip Lewis as young landscape contractors, learning at an early age the meaning of a hard days work.  Phil moved from Lexington MA, where he grew up, to Cape Cod in 1970 right around the time the Cape was becoming a premiere vacation spot and a perfect setting for a dream summer home. Working with some the Cape’s best landscape companies, Phil learned all the do’s and dont’s of the landscape industry. From supervising greenhouses to plantings for multi-million dollar estates, he has done it all.  After nearly half a century in the field Phil was an invaluable asset to Lewis Landscaping, Inc. when he joined his son’s full time in 2005.

After years of working for others and building the knowledge and work ethic needed, Tim and Nathan felt the time was right to see what they could do on their own.  Both brothers were working at a top notch landscape company, and although life could have remained much more worry free and simple, the Lewis boys felt the time was right and stepped out on their own.  With Tim’s vast knowledge of all things botanical and tremendous masonry skills, alongside with Nathan’s impeccable attention to detail, Lewis Landscaping, Inc. was destined for great things.
